Terms of Service

These terms describe the basic rules for using Sushy during private QA, including event discovery, accounts, host tools, ticketing, community features, and support.

Last updated: June 5, 2026

Service overview

Sushy provides social event discovery, RSVP/interest/save planning, event chats and community features, host-created or claimed event pages, host operations tools, and ticketing powered by payment providers where available.

Sushy is currently in private QA. Access to app functionality may be limited to invited users, approved testers, allowlisted networks, hosts, reviewers, or administrators.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, the activity on your account, and keeping your login method secure. Some features may require verification, host approval, subscription status, payment-provider setup, or other eligibility checks.

Sushy may limit, suspend, or remove access during QA for security, safety, fraud-prevention, policy, payment, operational, or support reasons.

Hosts, events, and event restrictions

Hosts are responsible for accurate event details and compliance with venue, age, ticketing, safety, tax, consumer-protection, accessibility, intellectual-property, and other applicable rules. Hosts should keep event times, locations, restrictions, pricing, refund policies, and access details accurate.

Sushy may restrict, remove, or decline events, hosts, content, media, ticketing, promotions, or accounts that appear misleading, unsafe, unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, infringing, or otherwise prohibited.

Tickets, payments, and subscriptions

Ticket purchases, host subscriptions, and promotional tools may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Sushy does not store full card numbers. Payment-provider terms, host policies, event status, and applicable rules may affect checkout, refunds, disputes, subscriptions, and payouts.

Host subscription cancellation and already-incurred fees are handled according to the relevant checkout, subscription, provider, or account settings when available. Contact support for billing questions.

Community features and acceptable use

Users may not misuse Sushy to harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, defraud, evade restrictions, interfere with service operation, scrape private app functionality, upload malicious content, violate others’ rights, or promote unsafe, unlawful, or prohibited activity.

Event chats, rooms, comments, profiles, uploads, and host announcements may be moderated or restricted when needed for safety, QA, operational, or policy reasons.

Content and media

You are responsible for content and media you submit or upload. You should only upload or publish content that you have rights to use and that complies with applicable event, venue, and platform rules.

Sushy may display provider-hosted embeds, host-uploaded media, source-linked event images, or generated fallback previews. Provider-hosted media remains subject to the relevant provider’s terms.

Third-party services

Sushy may rely on third-party services for authentication, payment processing, maps, calendar links, event source data, email, notifications, hosting, analytics, or media embeds. Those services may have their own terms, privacy practices, and availability limitations.

Availability and changes

Because Sushy is in private QA, features may change, break, be limited, or be removed as we test the product. We may update these terms or related policies as Sushy moves toward broader availability.
