  • Technical information: browser/device context, logs, approximate usage data, cookies/local storage, notification tokens when enabled, and diagnostics used for QA and security.

How Sushy uses information

Sushy uses information to operate accounts, event discovery, RSVP and save features, chats, host tools, ticketing workflows, notifications, support, safety, fraud prevention, debugging, QA, and service improvement.

Private QA usage may be reviewed more closely than a mature public product so we can diagnose issues, validate workflows, and protect payment, host, and attendee experiences.

Payments

Payment details are processed by payment providers such as Stripe. Sushy does not claim to store full card numbers. Sushy may store payment references, checkout/session identifiers, subscription state, ticket/order records, refund/dispute context, payout status, and support details needed to operate ticketing and host billing workflows.

Cookies, local storage, and notifications

Sushy may use cookies, local storage, session storage, browser permissions, and notification tokens to keep users signed in, preserve preferences, support media playback, enable web push where opted in, coordinate tabs, and improve QA diagnostics.

Third-party providers

Sushy may use third-party providers for authentication, hosting, databases, payment processing, email, web push, media embeds, maps, calendar handoff, analytics, logging, and event-source data. Those providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.

Sharing and safety

Some information is visible to other users by design, such as profile display details, event attendance signals, host announcements, chat messages, and content you post. Sushy may also share information with service providers, payment providers, hosts, or authorities when needed to operate the service, resolve support issues, prevent fraud/abuse, comply with requirements, or protect safety.

Retention and choices

Sushy keeps information as needed for account operation, QA, security, support, payment records, event records, legal/operational requirements, and service improvement. You can contact support for privacy, access, correction, account, or deletion questions. Some records may need to be retained for payment, fraud-prevention, dispute, security, or operational reasons.
